Top Gear’s Top 41 is the ultimate countdown of the Top Gear team’s all-time favourite 41 films, including the very best of the races, the challenges, the road-trips, the often slightly ridiculous stunts and the truly spectacular celebrations of some of the greatest supercars ever created, each individually introduced in typical Top Gear style by Hammond.

With so many supercar races, tests and all-out vehicular battles from around the world, choosing the all time number one wasn’t an easy task. As yone can imagine, getting this lot to agree on something is not always easy. But with rather a lot of adjudication from executive producer Andy Wilman the Top Gear team have created a comprehensive chart of their absolute favourites.

Who can forget Clarkson driving the Peel around the BBC’s offices, not to mention his terrifying journey in the ‘P45’ on a motorway? Or Hammond racing the Bugatti Veyron against a Eurofighter Jet. Or May in his caravan airship getting a bit lost and all three of them in amphibious cars trying to cross the English Channel? They even created and tested an electric car, the Hammerhead Eagle-I Thrust, raced across London with a car, bike, tube and powerboat and, of course, built the epic Reliant Robin spaceshuttle. Where these and many more appear in the chart will be revealed by Hammond throughout the series.
