It has been a whirlwind year for the Johannesburg based company. Over the past twelve months they have launched updated technology, from new mobile apps to updated features across all their platforms, to signing heaps of new local content and more.
“The one year mark is an important milestone for any company,” comments CEO, Davin Mole. “The first year in a new territory is always a growing year, with product adjustments and improvements taking place. We are through this initial phase and now offer a vastly enhanced service, from our music selection to our new lower bandwidth options. We have had hundreds of suggestions from users, many of which we have already implemented, with lots more to come. This is only just the beginning.”
To celebrate the first year milestone with their fans, any user who streams more than five songs on the Simfy Birthday Weekend, from Friday, 30 August to Sunday, 1 September, will be rewarded with a free month’s access to the service. The free month’s access will be credited to current account holders or added to trial accounts so anyone can benefit.
The user who streams the greatest number of songs during the Birthday Weekend will win a Samsung DA-F61 portable Bluetooth speaker to enhance their music listening experience whenever, wherever. In addition, random daily prizes will be drawn and offered to users who visit the Simfy Africa
Facebook page between Tuesday, 20 and Saturday, 31 August.
