The past eleven episodes have delivered beyond expectations creating conversations that affect the audience on a daily basis. From sex, promiscuity, gossip, politics, corruption, bullying, lies and the power of the digital age in spreading information, love and above all betrayal – one can only hope that the second season is even wittier and visually compelling.

“It has been a great journey working on the first season. There have been massive learnings, as it is in life with any project. Taking these learnings into the second season, our audiences can rest assured that not only will they be receiving great lines, but that they will be well – executed with sharper cinematography, taking the series to another level as our team believes in doing every project better than every previous time,” said producer, Bridget Pickering.

As South Africa heads to the polls, social media and the digital world as a whole will play a great role in how people respond to the promises by different campaigns. End Game zooms in on the power of hactivists in getting the voices and opinions of the ordinary citizens heard. Will the country see this in reality? Is the series setting the scene on how people can optimize the digital media to get their opinions heard? Or this is what’s already happening without much being said?

Hlomla Dandala, the lead character in the series who was just honoured with the Best Actor Award at the recent Ghana Movie Awards, doesn’t disappoint either as he delivers first class acting in the coming last two episodes.

“The team that worked on the series was committed, passionate and dedicated. That is a blessing,” said executive producer Akin Omotoso. “A second series will build on the success of the first. It’s the only way.”
