Season 15 of Muvhango continues to strengthen the two opposing families, the Mojalefa’s who are the newcomers and bought into the Vhakwevho family business - changing course into construction and taking it to new heights - and the Mukwevhos who at first welcomed the new family into its midst but now see evil intent and scheming in everything they do.

The battle for power between the two families culminates into outright war over a family incident which finally pits the two families against each other, both in this generation and the next.

“The viewers have always been asking for this and the Channel listened. This is a journey that started back in 1997 with a far cry 13 episode broadcast. In our 10th anniversary we started broadcasting for four days, and we believe that this is a milestone. Muvhango will continue flighting authentic, real stories that will continue to create conversations amongst the viewers. The five days broadcast comes with some exciting new developments, interesting faces and the storyline will continue to captivate,” said SABC2 publicist, Lebo Malete.

This season of Muvhango comes with some fresh faces, new talent that is bound to take the drama to the next level. Faces that are already on screen include the talented Melusi Yeni who plays the role of Phatudi Junior; Tshidi Vera who plays the role of Moriti; Lerumo Mojalefa is played by John Morapama. There is also the introduction of the new Ranthumeng Mokoena played by heartthrob and musician, Brian Themba who replaces Themba Nofemele.

Muvhango begins its five day broadcast from Friday, 14 March on SABC2 at 21:00.
