BBC Entertainment to air new series of QI from May
Media 99
QI, the comedy quiz show chaired by Stephen Fry and boasting a host of witty guest contestants from the world of entertainment, is back for a new season on BBC Entertainment, channel 120 on DStv. It airs from Tuesday, 20 May at 20:30.
The questions on QI are so difficult that the panel almost never get a right answer, so points are only awarded for interesting answers.
Series nine sees every episode focus on a different topic beginning with the letter H. These include everything from the rather vague Hodge Podge to the bane of modern society, Health and Safety. Other episodes centre on Happiness, Hoaxes, Holidays and Humans.
Guests this series include QI regulars Jimmy Carr, Jo Brand, Sean Lock and David Mitchell along with less-frequent guests Danny Baker and Sandi Toksvig. Meanwhile, Alan Davies retains his place as the ever-present butt of Stephen Fry’s wicked wit.
This new series of QI airs from Tuesday, 20 May at 20:30 on BBC Entertainment, channel 120 on DStv.
