Now, fans have a chance to own a piece of Survivor history, by bidding on a selection of items from the show, with proceeds going to Missing Children South Africa.

- The Individual Hidden Immunity Idols;
- The Juara Individual Immunity Necklace;
- Tribe Flags from Selatan, Utara and Juara;
- The Salvation Cup;
- The Tree Mail Box; and
- The Juara Tree Mail Knife.
Missing Children South Africa is an organisation close to the heart of
Survivor SA host Nico Panagio. The organisation was established in March 2007 in response to the kidnapping and brutal murders of Sheldean Human from Pretoria and Anestacia Wiese from Mitchell’s Plain, in an effort to assist and support families finding themselves in similar desperate situations.
Head of Publicity and Special Projects at M-Net, Lani Lombard, says that bidding is already heating up, with fans competing fiercely for their own piece of the show. “We’ve received loads of bids for the items from the game so far, showing how popular
Survivor SA is with fans,” she says. “The fact that the money raised goes to such a great cause is a bonus.”
The auction opened at Noon on Friday, 23 May and runs until Midnight on Wednesday, 4 June. Fans need to download the auction bid form from the site, complete one form per item they’d like to bid for, and email the form to
[email protected].
