The Audit Bureau of Circulations of South Africa (ABC) has just released its figures for the period July to September 2014 and Caxton Magazines’ leading titles have ranked the highest in their categories. Both Woman and Home and Rooi Rose have shown an incredible circulation growth of 22% and 10% up from the previous immediate quarter respectively.
For Anton Botes, general manager of Caxton Magazines, this news is significant, “Caxton Magazines has always been about connecting with our readers, regardless of the platform we use. Whether it is online, via an app or in the traditional printed format, we like to start the conversation with those who purchase our magazines. These latest figures show that our readers are responding to this intent and its thanks to them that Woman and Home has retained its position as South Africa’s most bought English monthly glossy magazine, while Rooi Rose is now significantly larger than its competitors.”
“In addition to this incredible circulation growth, both magazines are now the top two monthly glossies in the country and the only two with a circulation of over 100 000 copies per issue. I couldn’t be happier,” concludes Botes.
Both the December issues of Woman and Home and Rooi Rose are on sale now.
