UCT Radio is been recognized for over thirty years of student-run radio broadcasting, informing the general University of Cape Town community and actively participating in the training of staff according to radio industry standards. Tune in and enjoy a young, vibrant sound, with frequent give-aways, and the freedom of speech that makes a refreshing alternative to commercial broadcasting in the Cape Town area. A station that has produced some of the more popular South African celebrities and professional broadcasters, showing it’s professionalism on all levels by the talent that emanates from this dynamic station.
