Hadebe brings with him over 15 years of experience in the film and television industry. He currently works on two drama series for Urban Brew Studios, Mzansi Magic’s Zabalaza and e.tv’s Gold Diggers. Last year he was honored to have been selected as an Emmy Awards juror and attended the event in New York.

About his new role, which will include building and maintaining business relationships with channel executives, Hadebe says, "This is a humbling and breathtaking opportunity. Together, we become magnates of hope and growth. It's our time."

Adelaide Joshua-Hill started her career at Urban Brew seven years ago as an education consultant for YOTV. She then became head of YOTV mini and went on to head up the entire YOTV portfolio. Her new role will include overseeing and managing production teams and providing leadership across all productions in the unscripted portfolio.

Of her new position Joshua-Hill has the following to say, “I’m very excited about this opportunity. I feel that I’ve got a lot to offer and look forward to collaborating with the entire Urban Brew Studios family.”

Joanne Lurie, who has been in the TV industry for 13 years, spent eight of her nine years at Urban Brew Studios producing 3Talk with Noeleen. Before joining the company, she worked on international formats, including The Weakest Link, The Biggest Loser and Big Brother.

In her new role, Lurie will give strategic creative input across the business to ensure Urban Brew Studios becomes an innovative hub of creative excellence. Of her appointment she says, “My ultimate goal is for us to envisage what TV will look like in five years and for us to start making that kind of TV right now. And we’re going to have so much fun doing it.”
