Glam Guru

Ordinary South Africans will have the opportunity to get exclusive and sparkling new appearances with the new reality show on kykNET, which starts on Tuesday, 8 April.
Glam Guru is, however, not just any makeover show –it excludes the use of any scalpels, hospitals or strict eating plans. The idea of the programme is to make absolutely normal people look and feel better through the use of simple techniques, such as changing their make-up or hairstyle.
Although these changes seem simple, they can make an amazing difference!
The format of the show will see two teams from the beauty professions, including professional hairdressers, stylists and make-up artists, gathered together every week to give two unstylish participants a makeover.
The team will work simultaneously with the contestants’ make-up and hair, while dropping beauty tips at random for the viewer.
The presenter of Glam Guru is Hannon Bothma, a super-stylist who was the flamboyant hair- and makeup-guru in M-Net’s Star Maker Story.
The makeover sessions on Glam Guru aim to show that everyone can be made over to look like beautiful princesses and handsome princes with just simple changes to their appearance.
Catch Glam Guru on Tuesdays, from 8 April, at 20:00 only on KykNet.
