Youth Expression is a live current affairs show on SABC1 every Tuesday at 18:30. It provides the youth of Mzansi with a platform to express their views and engage with prominent role players about important issues affecting their daily lives. The show covers news and breaking issues as they affect young people and highlights their views on these issues.

Presenter Naledi Moleo is young and passionate, with a long history in the field of tv broadcasting, having presented various childrens’ shows, and acted in dramas such as Scout Safari and Isidingo. She is also voice artist for Tube on SABC2. As a result, Naledi has understood and grown with the children of South Africa.

Co-presenter Mzwandile Ngubeni has a solid background in theatre, and the natural ability to perform on a whim. Be it on TV or on stage, he captivates his audience with his good looks and smooth voice, not to mention that he speaks 5 languages! Mzwandile says, “the youth need a voice and a platform to express their issues. They are called the lost generation, but the question is, who lost them? It’s time to find the youth, bring them back and make them realise that they are the future of our nation. The only way I believe we can find them again is to give them a platform to express themselves”.
