According to PRISA, the structure will change from being administered by a single convener to being governed by the Public Relations Consultancy Chapter and advised by the PRCC Advisory Board, which consists of all Public Relations Consultancies registered with PRISA.

The head office of PRISA will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the awards and they will be tasked with appointing auditors and the convening committee who will appoint the judges and organise event logistics.

"With this new structure in place, PRISA calls on public relations consultancies to register with PRISA and participate in the professionalisation of the industry to ensure that we're benchmarked with international best practices," says Ditshego.

"This is the beginning of a new era in the public relations and communication industry and we're looking forward to inspiring future growth of the industry," concludes Ditshego.

Potential sponsors who would like to contribute to the 2022 PRISM Awards are encouraged to contact Victor Sibeko, chief executive officer PRISA.
