Mpholo has been in the public relations and communications industry for 13 years.

According to the agency, she has gained much experience working in well-established agencies (such as BCW Africa and Hill+Knowlton Strategies) and consulting for international corporate brands in the finance, professional and technology sectors across the continent. She is now responsible for all aspects of the business.

"This role is about supporting employees and the business. This calls for great responsibility and accountability and I look forward to rising to that challenge," says Mpholo.

Kwame Senou, founder of Opinion & Public BCW, is handing over the baton after three years which, according to the agency, have been marked by significant growth and an established reputation for the agency.

Senou will continue supporting the major clients and Mpholo as a senior advisor. Senou now serves as executive chairperson at THOP.

"We are pleased to have Mpholo lead the business. Not only does she bring great experience, skill and passion to the group, but she is focused on world-class service. I have no doubt she will be a great addition to our leadership team and a fantastic brand ambassador," adds Senou.

Mpholo is also a founding member of PRCA Africa NextGen and is focused on developing the African narrative.

"Never has it been more important for the communications industry to have this approach to leadership. We are faced with many challenges on a global and local scale that we need to be conscious of. In the same light, we are also presented with many opportunities as an industry to be the change drivers in the world. This is what I would like to be the impact of Opinion & Public BCW," concludes Mpholo.
