We all know what public relations are and what it entails, but when it comes to the lingo, some people might get a
little stuck.
If common
PR terms are not in your daily word use, there is no shame in faking it till you make it. However, some are a little more common and might make it difficult to pretend. We know you could be needing some help with a few of
these terms.

- Boilerplate: This refers to a brief description and basic explanation of what a company does and who they are as a whole.
- Impressions: It entails the number of times the public read, heard or saw a specific message or post. It also includes multiple times by a single individual.
- Pitch angle: The specific focus during a pitch to provide a fresh take on a story, idea, or message.
- Spots: Short advertising videos created for distribution on multiple platforms.
- Target: The specific group of people or demographic you are hoping will see, hear or read your message once it is released.
