This forms part of the brand's mission to spark connections and break down barriers which aligns with Hey Neighbour's ethos of turning strangers into neighbours. This dynamic partnership is all about synergy, says Heineken® and Hey Neighbour.

To amplify the festive season's good times, Heineken® is taking the festival to Africa with a continentwide campaign that will make Hey Neighbour a household name across 10 African markets, according to the brand.

These locations include Mozambique, Ivory Coast, Ethiopia and Nigeria — to name a few.

With Heineken® as a trusted partner, Hey Neighbour will be a festival that the African continent can experience, own and be proud of, says the duo. The intent is to be at the same magnitude as the likes of iconic international festivals like Coachella.

"We're absolutely thrilled to have Heineken® on board as our presenting partner," says Warren Le Grange, Hey Neighbour Festival's director. "This partnership is all about celebrating good times and unity, which aligns perfectly with the spirit of Hey Neighbour."

Heineken®'s commitment to promoting inclusivity, diversity and sustainability through good times resonates deeply with Hey Neighbour's values, says the brand. This partnership represents a shared commitment to fostering a global community that values music, art and culture.

"Celebrating 150 years with a festival of this magnitude only seems fitting in the spirit of Mzansi. We are elevating the celebrations with this partnership by allowing everyone to enjoy good times with Heineken®, one way or another," says Marcel Swain, Heineken® marketing manager at Heineken® Beverages.
