The CIPR’s Diploma and Advanced Certificate professional qualifications can now be studied at centres in 14 countries overseas, plus the UK*. Enrolment is now open for the September intake. Overseas centres include Bulgaria, Cyprus, Egypt, Greece, Bosnia & Herzegovina, China, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Nigeria, Serbia, Slovenia, Syria and the Ukraine.
"This is a huge endorsement for the quality of the CIPR brand," says James Petre, Head of Qualifications at the CIPR (Chartered Institute of Public Relations). "Building on the success of our UK-based centres, we have developed this extensive overseas network in only two years. Achieving our Chartered status strengthened our proposition abroad immensely and leading PR organisations in other countries have been knocking at our door for approval to teach our qualifications."
Both qualifications are industry-recognised. The Advanced Certificate is aimed at people who are interested in pursuing a career in public relations or those who have been working in the business, at fairly junior levels, for a couple of years. It provides a solid grounding in all aspects of PR theory and practice, as well as professional development.
The postgraduate Diploma in Public Relations is for more experienced professionals or those without an industry specific qualification and provides advanced capability in management and practice.
And for those who may have difficulty attending a centre, the Diploma can also be studied online.
