This in turn will curb absenteeism and give children a better chance to excel both in the classroom and on the sports field.
“Poor hygiene is one of the main reasons for children becoming sick, making them unable to attend school. Through the Securex School Programme, we are educating learners about simple and effective hygiene practices and encouraging them to wash their hands so as to limit the spread of disease. Through simple hand washing, learners and their families can enjoy good hygiene,” says Jacqueline Jacobs, director Sales and Marketing for Bliss Brands.
The Securex School Programme is being implemented across 80 primary schools throughout Gauteng and will reach over 50 000 children. The initiative aims to benefit both children and their families.
