Media literacy is an incredibly important skill to have in 2025 — this is because everyone has the ability to put out and share information online, whether it is true or not. AI tools are developing at an astounding rate, and it is making it increasingly difficult to decipher what is real and what isn't.

Media literacy teaches us how to fact-check a piece of content and how to be able to distinguish between a relatable and credible news source and a fake or biased one. Media literacy also helps us to create and share content responsibly.
